As brand marketers, everyday we receive countless 'breaking campaign news' emails, LinkedIn updates on the latest brand OOH campaign, TV ad etc. but how does this help us, really?

Tomorrow our marketing press will be sharing the next brand that released their latest creative and the previous day's breaking news is, well, yesterday's news.

But is that how our industry works? No, internally a brand will be monitoring creative effectiveness and ROI, how their latest campaign moved the business.

What if we didn't focus on breaking marketing news but deconstructing it? That's where THE GOODS comes in.

THE GOODS is an independent media platform establish in 2020 by us, Jason and Kelcie Papp, both journalists published in The Times UK, Mail On Sunday, The Lane, and Total Guitar.

How did THE GOODS start? In 2020, as the global COVID-19 lockdown was enforced, we were searching for insightful content showcasing strategic and personal insights of the brand marketing's industry's most successful. To which we found a void. So we started THE GOODS.

From debuting as a downloadable monthly marketing PDF in 2020, then a premium quarterly print magazine posted globally and next, a fully digital publisher, THE GOODS is more than a media platform; it's a family-run challenger to the marketing trade press.

At THE GOODS, we champion thoughtful analysis, ardent inquiry, and a tenacious pursuit of transparency.

Join us as we continue to explore, reveal, and celebrate the essence of an industry that never ceases to innovate.

Today, we maintain 100% oversight on the editorial direction and are not funded by any brands or agencies. This means the marketing news, insight and analysis is comprehensive, transparent, unbiased and well informed.

This includes our OOO section where THE GOODS writes tech and gadget reviews, travel articles, destination and luxury resort reviews  written with our brand marketers and C-suite readers in mind.

We run this media platform, our LinkedIn and Instagram pages. This means everything you read has been approved for publish by either Kelcie or Jason.
